Teachers hold the world in their hands.

We hold precious, nuanced, and highly esoteric knowledge about how to teach our kids, but are not allowed to lead our own profession—as ALL other credentialed professions do in America today. This is due to the structural sexsim baked into our profession, which affects student learning, our standing in the world, and our very ability to effectively self-govern.

We disrupt the idea that ANYONE but current veteran teachers know best how to teach OUR kids. WE are also tenured, and are therefore the ONLY ones without a conflict of interest—allowing us to speak truth to power—local polticians who sit on our school boards, yet we have NO place in K-12 governance. NO ONE inside of K-12 governance is able or willing to face the rampant sexual abuse on our campuses—it HAS to be US.

So we have devised a praxis for teachers to disrupt school systems and cultures which perpetuate wide spread child sexual abuse, and male sexual violence at school.
